Festive Food Hampers

For over 20 years Hart Lions have been collecting groceries outside local supermarkets and distributing Christmas Food Hampers to the elderly and less fortunate families in our area.

With plans having to change at the last minute this year due to COVID 19 restrictions, we were able to secure a donation from the Waitrose Community Fund and this together with contributions from Morrisons Elvetham Heath and personal donations we were able to provide 50 Festive food hampers to local families and 25 to elderly residents.

These contributed to the 430 hampers and around 900 children's Christmas gifts that were made possible by food, toy and monetary donations from other local Lions Clubs.

These were distributed around the local area by Store Manager Nicola Painter and volunteers from The Lions Community Store.
